Darren qualified in 1999 and has spent the last 17 years tirelessly representing clients in the Magistrates’ Court and police station.
He started Chiltern Law in 2013 to provide discerning clients with an exclusively private defence practice. Since then he has built his business around his successful defence of clients.
He has dealt with high profile cases involving major crime so is used to dealing with intense pressure and achieving excellent results for his clients. Owing to this he enjoys a steady flow of referred work from other solicitors and clients.
Darren has a reputation for excellent client care and attention to detail. He is a strategist, always thinking of different ways to represent his client and a different angle to the defence.
He has particular success representing motorists with exceptional hardship arguments and arguing procedural points. Over the years he has successfully appealed murder convictions in the Court of Appeal, represented the highest recorded “speeder”, serial rape and related sexual offences. He enjoys a high rate of cases being discontinued or acquitted after trial.
He is know for his proactive and positive outlook when dealing with cases – not one to be distracted or undermined.
