Magistrates & Crown Court
Magistrates’ Court and Crown Court provide the formal setting for the proceedings so it is vital that every aspect of your case is fully prepared.
This may include tracing witnesses, making applications for disclosure, instructing our own experts, applications to adduce bad character and briefing experienced counsel. Our Magistrates and Crown Court solicitors work very closely with London chambers to ensure the high standard is seamless in all Magistrates and Crown Court representations.
It is important that we work together so that you provide your best and full instructions on all of the evidence. We will advise you on your defence, strategy and tactics so that you are empowered and feel involved in all aspects of your case.
At Chiltern Law, all of our work is exclusively private and we do not undertake legally aided work. This means that we are always available to take the stress and strain away from the proceedings and that you get who you instruct. You won’t have a number of different barristers representing you during your case, you will have one who knows your case intimately and who you will meet before the hearing either at the office or in chambers.
